VSCA committees are responsible for conducting much of the work of the organization. Each committee is responsible for particular duties including advocacy & government relations, communications and public relations, the annual conference, membership management, professional development, research & graduate student engagement, and much more. Conference Committee
Assist in planning and supporting VSCA's annual conference. Members gain experience in event planning, collaborate with presenters and vendors, and help create engaging learning experiences for hundreds of counseling professionals.

Professional Development Committee
Support the creation of webinars, workshops, and learning opportunities throughout the year. Members help identify emerging topics, recruit presenters, and contribute to high-quality professional learning aligned with current best practices.

Share the story of VSCA through newsletters, social media, website content, and member communications. Members develop communication and marketing skills while helping keep the membership informed and connected.
