You are receiving this email because you have registered for the VSCA Summer Summit 2020. Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel this year’s VSCA Summer Summit event scheduled for Friday, August 7th at Virginia Tech.
This decision to cancel the event was made due to low in person attendance and concerns related to COVID-19. We want to ensure everyone’s health and safety and felt that this was necessary.
We intend to hold the Summer Summit event next year and look forward to bringing you a full-day of valuable and relevant content that you can use in your professional work and schools. In addition, we are planning to share some of the Summer Summit content through the VSCA SCOPE podcast in September.
For those that have paid for the event and would like to request a refund, please reach out to Shannon Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org or Rachel Wheeler at email@example.com on or before Friday, July 31st, with the following information:
Your name as you listed it for registration and your school division
Whether your registration was made through our website or by check (if through our website, the refund will be credited back to the card used to pay for the registration)
If you paid by check;
Provide the name of the Payer, date check sent, and the check number
Provide your mailing address of where to send the refund
